3. LIFE AFTER DEATH by ENRIQUE RENARD, F.T.S. The question of death and dying holds a good deal of concern in the Occident, where death is usually regarded with fear and anxiety and accompanied by a great demonstration of grief. Also, the matter of one’s own death is normally regarded with fear and anxiety. We ask, is this the correct way to feel about this crucial and certainly inevitable part of life? In Theosophy we are offered views on post mortem that can entirely dissipate our fear of dying and can greatly diminish the anguish of the loss of loved ones. We are told that it is in fact nothing but a great adventure, one for which we should be prepared with proper information.
